July 26 – Nine Barrow Down & Studland sands

We had another nice relaxing morning and breakfast near the caravan again before Sue, Katie and ourselves set off to walk up the hill to the Nine Barrow Down to see the view, including Swanage, Poole Harbour and more little towns. Some of the other Dibdins joined up at the top and we meandered down after a while.

We then headed out to Middle Beach near Studland, and the water was perfectly warm according to the Brits. But it was so cold! We managed to go in for a wade with the Isle of Wight in the distance.

We were back just after 7pm and dinner had been sorted, baked potatoes and beans and had tart and ice cream for dessert. Definitely converted to loaded Jacket Potatoes. Another night in the tent, though this one being a bit colder, with a terrific view of the field and stars.
