We enjoyed a little sleep in, then headed downstairs for our continental breakfast. After satisfying our stomachs and grabbing a few snacks for the road, we checked out and headed out to post Sarah’s shoes, then got to the Fitzwilliam Museum.
The museum had fine art, sculpture, and a collection of Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt. We spent most of the time viewing oil paintings and sculptures, to our delight. We then hopped in the car to drive back to London. Again we had a good run with traffic and arrived at Sue and Simon’s just after 2pm.
After a quick bag drop, we headed out to drop the car off. Generously Simon came with us to drive us back to the house. A lazy afternoon recovering from the busy last few days and preparing for a very big day tomorrow. We enjoyed dinner outside with Sue and Simon then headed to bed, with Sarah very excited for the day ahead.
