We had a lovely sleep in as the rain hit the window, with the outdoors being drizzly and grey, and enjoyed a lazy morning watching the weather roll into and over the various hills.

Shortly after, we cooked up lunch and had a chill afternoon, enjoying the apartment loft and views. Nice and toasty inside, seeing as the oven was cranked for our pesto chicken.

We then headed out for a walk along the Stryneelva river. We wandered up the main road to quickly find that the footpath ended. So doubling back, we just treated ourselves to another view of the many waterfalls, continuing onto the town we found ourselves some ice creams which we enjoyed from the warm apartment.

After dinner we went for a stroll around town and Sarah picked some roadside raspberries, much to her delight. Which we both enjoyed in our dessert.

Many chapters were read today with a mountain backdrop from the window, and much research was done about the next day’s activities from the lounge chair. You can probably guess who’s who. All in all, today was a lovely lazy day. So not much to report. All is well and there is much to be thankful for.
