We had a lovely start to the day by attending church with cousin Ingrid, and a very different experience as it was all in Swedish or Latin! We then had brunch outside in the garden and a lazy morning and Sarah helped Ingmar make some cookies.
After that we went to the local cathedral and had a tour from one of the administrative staff, thankfully in English which was very kind. We learnt all about the history and religious art of the building. The tour guide was amazing, and we had a great time with Joni and Ingrid. Back to the house for a late lunch and the cookies Ingmar made.
We then played some soccer with Ingmar at the local field with Ingmar and chilled out back at the house. Ingrid and Sarah then went to another church service, this time in a language that they both didn’t speak — Syrian! — but it was a very unique and special experience nonetheless.
We then had a quick leftover dinner at home then headed out to the Steam Hotel for pool and games.
We finished up around 9pm and headed back home. Sarah found out she was staying with two other anime nerds, so there were extensive chats with Ingmar and Julian over late night pancakes.
