We enjoyed a sleep in this morning, then headed up to have breakfast with Mattias. We cooked up sausages and eggs and enjoyed a coffee over chats.

We then caught a bus into Örebro town, and made our way to the old town, where we popped into shops, tried local goods, op-shopped, explored the Swedish pastimes and enjoyed walking through the parks.

We then continued to the nature park along the river, which was converted many times from rubbish tips to army training areas. Now it was used as a wildlife reserve, hoping that more local wildlife will return. As we snaked around the river we came to the Naturens hus where we had a lovely lunch.

We then walked back to the bus stop and continued towards Mattias’ house, and stopped by a disused water tower that is now an observation deck, we walked around the top and enjoyed all the sights of Örebro, we then had Fika at the cafe.

Walking back to the apartment and had a rest before we headed up to Mattias’, to meet Kim (another family member) and had a bbq together. We enjoyed wonderful grilled chicken, by chef Mattias, and a TV show episode followed by a movie. It was a chilled night in, and very much enjoyed by all.
