Our alarm went off at 5am to pack our bags for Naples. We walked to the train station in Salerno and caught the train to Naples. It turned out our calves got what was coming for them from yesterday!
Arriving in Naples, we walked out of the terminal and found our bus transfer to the airport. Arriving at the airport at 7am we found a seat and had our last Italian coffee and pastry. Then heading through security and walking to the departure gates.
We then took a seat near our gate and waited for it to open, grabbing a sandwich each for the flight we went to our gate once open. As the plane was delayed, we waited at the gate before getting in the bus to the plane.
We boarded and set off about an hour late. The flight was just over 3 hours and we enjoyed our sandwiches for lunch, landing just before 4pm local time. Sarah was able to finish her 5th book on the holiday, it was a good use of time.
Arriving at the airport we made our way to catch the train to Helsinki, after a 25 minute trip we had a 20 minute walk to the hotel.
We just had a relax and refresh then headed down to dinner in the hotel (included, yay!).
Heading back to our room for a shower then went for a walk down to the docks, around the park, and back through the blocks to get to the hotel. We had an early night after a pretty tiring day (ironically, not doing much).
